What a published floor means
A published floor is the lowest dollar amount a vendor prints on a public page for a Manual J–capable SKU. It is not total cost of ownership, not a negotiated deal, and not a ranking. If the vendor does not print a number, we do not invent one.
Cool Calc Scan is listed on the homepage as a free add-on to the web suite, not as a separate priced SKU on that page.
Monthly vs yearly vs perpetual
These tools do not bill the same way, so raw dollars are not a like-for-like stack.
- Cool Calc posts monthly per-user cards ($50/user/mo, $250/user/mo) plus a $45/project option.
- Wrightsoft posts a yearly Windows residential package ($900/year USA).
- Elite posts a one-time desktop license ($599) and annual online SKUs ($149–$239/year).
- Conduit does not print a list price.
- Amply posts monthly and yearly per-user cards ($200/user/month; $2,160/user/year).
Twelve months of Cool Calc Unlimited Pro at $50/user is $600 before you add seats. That is not the same bill as Wrightsoft’s $900/year USA package or Elite’s $599 permanent desktop license. Count users, included modules, and how long you expect to keep the tool.
When Pricing on request applies
Conduit’s public pricing page does not show a dollar amount. The call to action is schedule a demo / get custom pricing. We write that as Pricing on request or Request pricing. Do not treat a forum post, testimonial, or third-party directory as Conduit’s list price.
ACCA approved software
Approval status lives on ACCA’s list, not on a LoadCalcStack badge. Check the live list at ACCA approved software before you rely on a marketing claim.
